1-10 of 39Mark O'Connor's American Classical Music. In the 1980s, Mark wrote his first Caprices and first string quartet. By 1995, Mark wrote and recorded his "Appalachia Waltz" with Yo-Yo Ma. That led to two best selling classical albums and the term "American Classical" was given new life. Since then Mark O'Connor has composed a total of nine concertos, two symphonies as well as several string quartets and piano trios.
