Wow.. good

There is so much interest in Mars and so many missions there why not develop a number of post or, relay stations on Mars with data storage for future retrieval, possibly months after a mission ends. Having computer servers and back up energy, solar powered relay stations where data can be sent in larger bit streams and stored for later retrieval so more data can be sent back to Earth just not all at once. They could also have weather reports and Mars cam's for nearly live Mars activity. There is just so much interest in Mars and so many missions on Mars it only seems like the logical thing to do? Money can't be an issue with all the money people pay for smart phones and entertainment! Also I do not understand why a Gama ray communications system is not in place for off world exploration, the bit stream would be more than enough, giving an almost real time connection from far out in space.

Hello there! amazing reports & work you do guys! But there is a "curiosity" question for you - and may be someone else did this question too: how sounds the ambient of Mars? are there wind blow or something like that? are there some mics over the rover? Congratulations again!

Perhaps a seismic sensor could detect the vibrations in the air, then you do your fancy math to translate that into an approximation of what it sounds like to be on Mars? Maybe?

Question for the super brains: What does Mars sound like? Have you ever had an acoustical device, a microphone, on any missions to Mars? With the low atmospheric density is there any ability to transmit acoustics on Mars? Does it have to be really loud? I wonder what the wind sounds like, if it sings across the dunes...

Hay, you guys should release a collage OR collection video of all the photos take so far from Curiosity and put that video up. Also, you guys ( hate to refer to you in that manner) should release the videos that it well shoot on this channel as well.
