Emily Hawley scored a perfect 4.0 GPA during her educational experience at Centenary College, earning her the title of Centenary Colleges 2010 Valedictorian. As her speech came to a conclusion, she called her boyfriend of seven years, Joshua Walker, one of Centenarys Welsh Prize Winner, to the stage with her. Joshua and Emily had attended Centenary together and were graduating together. Emily thought it the perfect opportunity to declare her love for him. In front of Centenary Faculty, Staff, alumni and students, along with her family and her friends, Emily proposed marriage to the man who has been her support for years. Emily and Joshua, we could not be happier for you both. On Saturday you walked down the aisle to end a chapter in your lives, soon you will be walking up another to begin anew.
