Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen & Marvin Musquin Attack Freestone | Orange Assault Episode 2

Cow country was rough and rowdy but no match for the Red Bull/KTM squad who maintained their second place overall standings in both the 450 and 250 classes! Despite James Stewart's 450 win, Ryan Dungey rode with power and made clear that Stewart is going to have to be on his game at every stop if he wants to preserve his place. In the 250 class, Marvin Musquin struggled to maintain his speed due to the rough track rattling his still recovering hand. Ken Roczen tipped his bike during a passing attempt, but it wasn't enough to hold him back. After a scorching hot day on the track, Roczen rode away in second for overall points.

GEICO Honda's Barcia & Tomac Making Moves, Bogle Recovering + Hahn Holding On | Young Guns Episode 3

Following Eli Tomac's domination at Freestone, taking first in both motos and an overall win, GEICO Honda came to Thunder Valley fueled for more. With Justin Bogle still on the mend following his crash at Hangtown, which resulted in surgery, it was up to the rest of the Young Guns to step up and earn points.
Eli Tomac felt right at home racing at the mile high track and was able to snag the fastest time during qualifying. Despite the stormy conditions producing heavy rain and strong winds that rolled in, Justin Barcia became "Hurricane Bam Bam" and grabbed a first moto holeshot and win, a second place finish in moto two giving him the overall first place win.

Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen & Marvin Musquin Lap High Point | Orange Assault Episode 3

Ryan Dungey took High Point by storm taking two first place moto finishes and now holds a considerable lead in the 450 class. With James Stewart not racing at full capacity while on the mend from an injury, Dungey's odds are looking good and his family is right there with him on the road showing full support.
Still looking to find his strength on the track following minor Freestone and Thunder Valley shake ups, Ken Roczen tipped his bike just after the hole shot in the second moto and was unable to take back the lead.
Marvin Musquin is back in full swing following his hand injury and continues to climb in position with every race. After having the fastest qualifying time on the track, Musquin took a fourth and sixth place in motos for a fifth place finish for the day overall.

GEICO Honda's Barcia & Tomac In Podium positions, Hahn Hunts for Fifth | Young Guns Episode 4

Leaving High Point with Tomac finishing first overall and teammate Justin Barcia finishing second overall for the day, GEICO Honda's Young Guns are looking strong. With Barcia sitting only seven points behind the series leader, Blake Baggett, and Tomac only eleven points out of the lead things were ready to rev up at Budds Creek!
Things revved up alright, with some highs and lows for the day leaving the Young Guns with little change in the end. After the dirt settled, Barcia pulled a first place finish in the first moto eventually leaving in third for the day overall while Tomac took fourth overall for the day and now Barcia trails Baggett's point lead by thirteen and Tomac by 22 . Hahn leaves Budds Creek as he left High Point in sixth overall, fighting for a top spot with his teammates.

Following the three week break, Red Bull KTM's team came into RedBud rested and ready to get back to work on the track. With the return of James "Bubba" Stewart, Ryan Dungey was ready for a battle but found himself taking first in both motos showing his confidence and skills are still on the rise.
In the 250 class, Marvin Musquin came out hot moto 1 and took the whole shot but ended up finishing fourth in both motos. Ken Roczen was battling with the heat all day long but managed to pull a third in moto 1 and then sixth in moto 2. For the day overall, Musquin finished fourth while Roczen took fifth.

Following the round at RedBud, GEICO/Honda's Young Guns came into Spring Creek feeling fresh and ready to spark up competition with the return of their missing teammate Justin Bogle. With Bogle back in the lineup Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia and Wil Hahn have a fourth focusing in on Monster Energy/Kawasaki's Blake Baggett to really put the pressure on.
The day before the race the Young Guns found their way to a nearby track to test out a few new tricks, which clearly paid off when Tomac took the overall win and Bam Bam Barcia took two seconds to finish up second overall for the day. Hahn took sixth for the day and Bogle bagged eighth to show everyone in the top ten that GEICO/Honda's Young Guns are back in full force.

Ryan Dungey has been ditching the competition at almost every track this season, and as he rode out of his hometown track of Spring Creek with another overall win he was feeling more than confident coming into Washougal. Although Washougal served as home to Ryan Dungey's first-ever win, this race would serve as a reminder that Dungey is fallible -- but still a winner.
Following Dungey's fifth consecutive win at Washougal, he passed insider info on to his teammates Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin. The info may have helped Musquin who finished fourth overall, however Roczen took his worst finish of the season in seventh. With only four races left the entire team is revving up and ready to continue their assault in orange for a final stride toward the checkered flag.

After a few weeks to recoup, Red Bull/KTM's Orange Assault returned to race Southwick refueled and ready for anything. For example, during the second moto of the 450cc Ryan Dungey took a tumble with his bike causing his fuel cap to come off and dump precious fuel. With only five laps left in the moto, Dungey was pulled into the pit for the first time in his career to pour in the gas necessary to finish the race. Dungey left the day with the win overall.
In the 250cc Marvin Musquin and Ken Roczen both had great motos throught the day. Musquin rode hard in the first moto and took away his best finish of the season in second place. Roczen came into the second moto of the day with a German force that showed everybody why he made the move to America to conquer another class. With only a few stops left in the season, the Orange Assault team is picking more momentum as a whole showing that they are the team to look out for.

GEICO Honda's Barcia, Tomac, Bogle, Hahn + New Gun Bell at Unadilla | Young Guns Episode 8

Zach Bell is the newest Young Gun in the lineup and he has already left an impression on everyone racing the 250cc track his first two pro stops. At Unadilla, Bell jumped off the gate to take the holeshot, following the Southwick stop's first moto that makes back-to-back moto one holeshots, but with those both days came back-to-back trouble late into his races. One thing's for sure, he is quick on the draw and knows how to gain speed.
In the second moto, Eli Tomac took first and Justin Barcia had his back in second. Justin Bogle also finished in a top spot in the second moto with the fourth place finish. Wil Hahn had a pretty good day overall, but he had a rough time finishing high in the motos and ened up seventh for the day.
With the 450cc already determined, all eyes are on the 250cc class-- specifically the Young Guns' Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac. With only two races remaining left to decide this year's winner and top finishers, this 250cc class is anything but finished.

Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen's Day Off Between Races | Orange Assault Episode 7

Ken Roczen, #70, has been fighting all season long to make his claim as the German transplant on the American circuit. Following his first moto win at Unadilla Roczen was able ride out of round 10 with a confidence boost to fuel him up for the final two rounds of the season. Although the life of a professional motocross racer is anything but lax, Roczen, aka K-Roc, invited the crew to ride along with him for a day in between races to get some insight as to how he lives.

Following a historic race day at Unadilla, where Ryan Dungey won the first KTM U.S. Pro Motocross Championship and his second 450cc Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship title, the Orange Assault crew came into Steel City ready to steal the show across the board with Dungey still racking up overall moto wins.
Back in Unadilla Marvin Musquin took his first U.S. overall win while Ken Roczen took his first moto win, so coming into the second to last stop at Steel City these two were focussed to keep the momentum in their favor. Unfortunately for Musquin he picked up a cold between races and was left feeling a little under par. Roczen however continued on a good racing streak and took second overall for the day.

GEICO Honda's Barcia,Tomac, Hahn, Bogle Wrap 2012 at Elsinore | Young Guns Episode 9

Coming into the final stop of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, Eli Tomac was only fourteen points behind the leader Blake Baggett with Justin Barcia ready to make his final laps on his 250cc bike sitting only eighteen points behind Baggett -- all of this was building up for an exciting final day of 2012 MX at Lake Elsinore.
Once the gate dropped in the first moto Barcia came out firing but would eventually be overtaken by teammate Tomac after a bit of a battle. With everything coming down to the final moto of the season both Tomac and Baggett would tumble off their bikes, leaving it wide open for Barcia to take the moto. In the end, it was Barcia in second and Tomac in third for the season.
Wil Hahn rode out of Elsinore with his best finish of the season ending the day in fourth overall and sixth for the the season.
That concludes the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for GEICO/Honda's Young Guns. Leaving 2012 MX with the East and West lites titles plus second and third for lites nationals, these slingers are sure to return in 2013 to try again for the lites class sweep.

The 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season was a historical landmark for the KTM team as Ryan Dungey took his second 450cc MX championship title and KTM's first American championship title ever! Dungey closed out the final stop of the year at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park with both moto wins following a few final battles with Mike Alessi showing the same strength and dedication he exhibited all season.
In the 250 class for the final stop both Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin rode admirably. Despite Roczen taking an early tumble off his bike, he still was able to earn a sixth place finish in moto one to pair with his seventh in moto two for a sixth for the day and fourth for the year. Musquin came riding out of the gates strong at Elsinore taking fourth in moto one a third in moto two ending in third for the day and fifth overall for the season.
