Had my Phantom, not the DJI quad, out doing some longer runs since I just put on 1.3 video and having a riot. Steve, the Quadfather follwed me probably 2km out with his QAV400 and got some great shots of the wing doing it's thang.
I have just ordered Rangelink long range system as well, so we'll be taking some long tours of the surrounding Kamikaze wilds. Should be able to get to one of the closest peaks for sure, was just looking on google maps figuring out distances LOL Need a OSD big time though.
