Through our comprehensive campaign, "Never Again. What You Do Matters," led by honorary chair Elie Wiesel, the Museum seeks to secure the resources to keep Holocaust memory alive as a force for change in today's world.
Genocide Prevention & Awareness
To address issues of genocide prevention, the United States Holocaust Memorial Council created the Committee on Conscience shortly after the Museum opened. The mandate of the Committee is "to alert the national conscience, influence policy makers, and stimulate worldwide action to confront and work to halt acts of genocide or related crimes against humanity."
