I have difficulty retaining eye contact with anyone for more than two full seconds. I preface my malformed opinions with words like "well" or "umm", broadcasting my feeble uncertainty about who I am or what I'm saying with every low-pitched sentence I emit. I do this because it is only kind to forewarn someone before bowling them over with idiocy. And this is not self-deprecation. If that was the case I would keep my mouth closed and be thought a fool rather than open it to begin with.
I'm 17 years old. I've been granted every leisure in this life, yet despite my material riches, I have yet to contribute even one thing to any other person, medically, ethically, idealistically, or economically.
This is because I've been graciously given all so many of the wrong opportunities. All the wrong ideals, all the wrong big pictures, and all the wrong gold-paved paths to take, like every other one of my peers that I've met or known.
