She was the one that everyone wanted to be like
She was the one guys chased after all the time
She was the one everyone called beautiful
She was the one who fooled you with her smile
She was the one who bled every night
She was the one who cried herself to sleep
She was the one who couldn't find a reason to live
She was the one who had to live every day over and over again
She was the one with all the problems
She was the who kept all the secrets
She was the one who tried to be strong
She was the one who wanted to end it all
She was the one who wanted to be like you
She was the one who wanted to be called ugly
She was the one who suffered every day trying to hold on
She was the one who took her life away today.
THE SCARS ON MY WRISTS
The ache comes from my heart.
As I run it across my wrists,
My wrists start burning
the pain in my heart fades away
I come back to reality,
My heart starts to ache again,
While the wrists are still burning,
Nothing has changed, but the scars on my wrists

How this isn't the right way to live
And how miserable this is making her
She slides the knife along her wrists
Hoping silently this will be the last night feeling like this
Burning comes from her wrists
And all her emotions have left
She closes her eyes and rests her head
Asking herself why she didn't kill herself today
Searching for a reason to stay
