Colorado State University's College of Engineering is using its classrooms and laboratories to educate the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and corporate and civic leaders. The goal of the College of Engineering is to serve society by educating students, solving problems of global importance, and contributing to national and international economic development. The College of Engineering has a strong tradition of excellence and is comprised of five departments -- Atmospheric Science, Chemical & Biological Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering - and the School of Biomedical Engineering.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) strives to provide high quality education in the biomedical sciences through undergraduate majors in environmental health and microbiology and service courses in biomedical sciences for other majors, through the Professional Veterinary Medical program and through high quality graduate education in anatomy and neurobiology, clinical sciences, environmental health, microbiology, pathology, physiology and radiological health sciences.

The college contributes to the prevention and control of human and animal disease through basic and applied research programs encompassing each of these disciplines and provides outreach and service locally and nationally through technology transfer and dissemination of important discoveries affecting human and animal health.
