Back, with a vengeance, and an idea that's even more irresistible than the last!
I figured, making this scene to portray Hitler as a raging fanboy, is one thing, but to make this scene into that one nighttime scene from the anime ... even better!
Featuring: Kyon as Hitler Mikuru as the only one that talks after Hitler starts raging Itsuki as that guy who talks at the start Nagato as the quiet one and Tsuruya and Taniguchi in bit roles (although I doubt my characters are consistent here)
Entertainment. Let it ensue. Sadly I don't think I have enough ideas for 15,324 of these videos, though.

If response to this is good, I'm thinking of making a version from the point of view of Kyon as well (i.e. same thing, but inside the anime). Let me know if you wanna see it. ^^

A time in the not-so-distant future ...
Well, I'd like to bet on Endless Eight being nine episodes. If KyoAni wants to go all-out and not have to animate 15,000 episodes, nine is probably the best number.
I'm enjoying it anyway. Despite how irresistable I found this concept, I actually like Endless Eight a lot. Perhaps because a lot of people are reacting like our friend Hitler here.
I can kind of sympathize ... but the fact that KyoAni is pulling off this kind of stunt just entertains me to no end. It provides amusement both inside and outside the show - just watching the plummeting rating on MAL tells me I'm watching something special.
It's that insane Diethard-esque grin on my face that keeps me going. That look that knows I'm seeing something that's probably once-in-a-lifetime. Maybe for a good reason ... maybe not.
We shall see.
Some longer posts I have discussing the matter: http://m3.dasaku....

An actual gameplay video this time, again continuing the saga of "CCY tries to mix his passion for Maximum Tune with his passion for Touhou".
This video features a stage I've done some good progress on in story mode; the track, dialogue and cutscene (that thing that happens around 1:41) are complete, so I've just got to add some graphics for the stage, and traffic patterns.
As usual, the video is spliced from a bunch of FRAPS captures; I'm unregistered so I can only take 30 seconds at a time, so where the video skips, that's me mashing on F9 to get it to continue recording.
The beginning and ending thirds of the race are reasonably interesting; the middle is kind of dull, as I binned it into a wall and promptly mashed the 'hax' button (note where I get past 400 kph despite usually having a top speed of 300 kph) to catch up ... and got too far ahead.
Luckily Marisa keeps it interesting in the final third. No, you're not supposed to beat her here; supposedly in the storyline this is where you see the first use of a Spellcard, except I didn't add the graphics for that, so she just kind of speeds off.
Also, it's hard to pin down Alice's character correctly. I like the pairing of her and Marisa but I don't want to just drop her in the tsundere box and call it a day. It should be a little more subtle than that. I see Alice as more cool and stoic rather than tsundere.
Well, it beats trying to write dialogue for, say, Kisume. I'm not even familiar with her fanon presence. If she has one beyond 'bucket loli'.
Until next time~

...Just to convince myself this is a good idea.
About a month's work, but that's because of things that aren't shown in the video, such as background objects, traffic, story mode, saved data, the start and end of races, about a week off to play Punch-Out, etc.
Lots of exciting stuff if I pull this together, but until then, a fairly unexciting gameplay demo of Outrun Mode (this game as a whole will be familiar if you know Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune). It would be more exciting if my sample course had turns. And traffic. And background objects, so on so forth.
Also, entertaining side note: this is a bunch of FRAPS videos, recorded at 30 FPS and spliced together; my game runs at 60, but thanks to the "speed up, 2X" video effect, it looks roughly the same.
CCY does his best now and is programming. Please watch warmly until it is ready.
