Christopher Tin's debut album 'Calling All Dawns' is now available at www.christophertin.com. Declared 'one of the best world music albums of the decade' (Higher Plain Music), it features guest performances by some of the greatest voices in classical and world music, including the Soweto Gospel Choir, Frederica von Stade, Dulce Pontes, Sussan Deyhim, Anonymous 4, Lia, and many more, backed up by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

'Calling All Dawns' is a cycle of 12 songs in 12 different languages, each song flowing seamlessly to the next. The album is structured in three movements--day, night, and dawn--which collectively chart the cycle of life as it progresses from life, to death, to rebirth. The songs themselves draw from both sacred and secular texts, ranging from the Torah and Bhagavad Gita to Japanese haiku and Maori proverbs.
