ABOUT ME:
My name is Brian Ecker and I have been performing since I was 14 years old, doing plays and musicals, At CSULA I received my B.A. in Radio and Television Broadcasting with an emphasis in TV and Film. Out of school, I worked for MTV's The Real World and Road Rules, then various projects for Fox and HBO.

I started producing and acting in my TV Public Access series, Toy Box, in the late 90's thru 2004. (With new episodes being made since March 2008) Sadly, our public access station closed Dec. 31, 2008 due to some stupid law that passed, allowing cable companies a loophole to get out of their public access obligations. Thanks Arnie!

In 2003 I returned to live theater with a supporting role in "Into the Woods" and "Annie Get Your Gun" and since with lead roles in "East Lynne" and "Butterflies are Free" and played Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady" My last theater appearance was James Roberts in "My Husband Is My Sister-In-Law" which is currently in production as a motion picture.

ABOUT BRIANSTREEHOUSE:
Most of the videos on my channel involve improv. Only a few were scripted and still much was improvised. I am lucky to be surrounded by creative and talented people, many of whom wish to remain nameless, so I won't even mention Jay, Vince, Diana, Linde, Don and Karen.

Many sketches were produced by me and Sandra Dee aka Sandra Nicole (see watchtoybox for some of her standup) for our public access television shows, Toy Box and Skat Chat. Other collaborations are with Flow, Christa Woomer, and Sissy Debut.

On the Charlie's... project, I was fortunate to work with film actress Elaine Hendrix (Parent Trap, Romy and Michelle's, Superstar) and Raquel Horsford (Stomp) and film actor Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks, Star Wars) also comedic actors Geoffery Dwyer, JJ Mays, Allie Rivenbark, Tyrico Walls, Robbie Winston, and Joe Woods.
