thank you
This Valentine math letter comes all the way from Sweden, more exactly from a math teacher in Enköping. 'I write to you, with an attempt at charm and intrigue, but without rhyme and your speed. Such a pattern is not for me, though patterns the topic of this mail may be.'
Ok, so I could not possibly continue in that fashion, and I'm not as creative as you and so here's the thing: My class (year 8, age 14) has made it through the qualifications in a national math competition and is going to compete against 9 other schools in May of this year.
One of the objects of the semifinals is to work on a project on the topic of patterns in mathmatics. Patterns and the project could be as narrow or wide of a topic as the class want to make it. So how does this connect with you?
...
I'm hoping that you would like to affect a class in Sweden and their teacher ;)
Best wishes,
