How noble of you to experience such long forgotten experiences. But I question it's validity, because I only clicked a few hyperlinks.
Nice to find you |

This must be one of the most underrated channels in its category. I'll definitely be getting the book.

Good points Todd, i'd like to add that for non-card carrying "Atheists" like myself, it's more of a form of indifference to religious dogma and the religious experience as a whole. So FreedomLover4Ever point is not valid, at least from my side of the fence.

1 of 2:
> FreedomLover4Ever: Wow! Atheists are becoming bigger proselytizers than any religious people. Hi FreedomLover4Ever, I cant speak *for* atheists, but *as* an atheist, I see the proselytizing of the theist as something quite different from what I'm doing on this channel: - theists tell us that the Creator of the Universe has commanded us to accept Jesus as our savior / pray to Mecca 5x a day and abstain from alcohol / obey the caste system / etc. so that we may be spared from Divine Wrath (as expressed via eternal hellfire / being reincarnated as a cockroach / etc.) - I'm simply responding to these claims, and acknowledge that *if* any one of these religious claims are correct, then certainly we should take heed. But on what basis can we conclude that any of these religions were really Divinely Dictated? |

2 of 2:
> FreedomLover4Ever: atheists are turning atheism into a religion Religions tell us specific stories about how Divinity created the universe & life, and why suffering exists, and what happens to us after we die, and rules about how Divinity wants us to live (e.g.: beards should be grown to a certain length, homosexuality should not be tolerated, such & such dances will make it rain, untouchables should be killed if they pollute [touch] an upper caste, adulteresses should be stoned to death, etc.). Atheism only says that a Creator is more improbable than probable, so I don't see atheism as carrying enough specifics to qualify as religion. |
