3 月 18 日、YouTube は 東日本大震災において被災された方々のメッセージ動画を集めて紹介する 「YouTube 消息情報チャンネル」を開設しました。
現在、本チャンネルでは 200 本以上の動画を紹介しており、これらは、TBS 系列の JNN 取材団とテレビ朝日系列の ANN 取材団がが取材した安否情報を YouTube の公式パートナーである TBS News-i と ANN News が YouTube にアップロードしています。
今後も、公式パートナーやユーザーから届いた動画を、継続的に追加します。

画面上部のモジュール内、中央にある検索ボックスの中にお名前（見つからない場合は、姓・名それぞれを漢字、カナ、かなで入力し
なお、本チャンネルで紹介中の消息情報は、Google が提供中の、被災されたご家族やご友人の安否を調べられるツール「パーソンファインダー（消息情報）」にも反映されます。

About YouTube Person Finder:
On March 18, YouTube launched the YouTube Person Finder (消息情報), a channel that aggregates video messages from the sufferers of the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Northeastern Japan one week ago.
At the launch, we are introducing more than 200 video messages shot at the shelters by TBS and TV Asahi, major TV stations in Japan, and we will try to increase the number of videos by adding more content providers.
We are also trying to include videos shot by those impacted themselves, but we have to wait until the infrastructure situation there recovers.
[How to Use YouTube Person Finder]
You can search videos by names of a missing person in Kanji, Katakana, or Hiragana letters (Sorry Japanese letters only), the name of the place they lived, or the name of the shelter locations.
You can also browse videos within the module and also on the playlist embedded within the video navigator module in middle of the channel.
We will also link information about missing people with the Google Person Finder tool.
We hope this channel will help the victims and their families to establish each other's safety.
We also hope the video messages will reach many viewers and motivate them to contribute to the recovery and restoration of the disaster-stricken areas.
