Reasons why YouTube needs to police it's own website, instead of relying on YouTube users to flag inappropriate material: (update coming soon)

1) YouTube user Sturmgeist89 executes a school shooting at Jokela High School, murdering 8 people. Pekka-Eric Auvinen uploaded a video on YouTube warning of a massacre at his high school, just hours before committing the mass murder.
His YouTube account, NaturalSelector89, was suspended in mid-October for "terms of use violations". Clearly, YouTube should have contacted the law enforcement agencies to report Auvinen, which could have prevented the school shooting in Finland. According to the BBC, Auvinen stated in his video that he would "eliminate all who [he] see[s] unfit".
