Folks can always hear someone calmly say "Believe in Jesus" but they've heard all that before. I offer something different, but most know to discern act from reality. Also, I do this as a tribute to the wrestler Road Warrior "Hawk" who, before he passed away, became a Christian. Let's not jump to conclusions, and understand the meaning of 1 Corinthians 9:19-22. I'm just havin some fun, and others get the point too. So join the warrior and have some fun...ohhhhhh what a rushhhhhh!!!
Heyyy...Pyrohemian...I've been a Christian for over 20 years. I think I know what I'm doing. There is nothing wrong with presenting the Gospel message in a different way. Most mature folks who see my vids get the point that this "Road Warrior" thing is an act, but if you pay attention very carefully to WHAT I say, you find that everything holds up.
Ever heard of acting? As I said in one of my latest videos, God knows the difference, and Christians should too. I've had many positive comments from the very people I'm arguing against....atheists and agnostics. These people often attack the faith, and I defend against these attacks using reason, science, and the Bible...with a little flare.
I've just been watching some of your videos, and don't you think that you carry on a little bit too much with the whole "In your face you sissy athiests"? I mean for someone who calls themself a Christian bragging and generally beating up on others dosn't seem like something you are called to do as per your faith. I know its entertaining and all but i think you need to think about how the entire faith is represented by you on your videos.
Heyyy...thanks for the kind comments on my page about the View and what Mike Moore said about Jesus. I hate when people try to use Jesus for their illegitimate political agendas, when they themselves really know nothing about the Jesus of the Bible. Hi, I just read your comment on the Star Parker guest appearance on "The View" (Star Parkers/BarbWalters) video (you made the comment 2 months ago). I just wanted to say that I agree 100% with your comments. I just heard an interview today between Star and a Detroit Christian radio talk show host, and she sounds like she has an amazing story, and I liked what she had to say. It is sad that most of the comments made on that video (The View appearance) were extremely mean spirited and ignorant. And for Mike Moore to say what he did about Jesus, shame on him. God Bless!
Ahh, Mjhavok. Sure, I know that dictionaries show common usage of words, but the point is, someone tried to "correct" what they thought was an error on my part before checking the dictionary.
The same applies here with these attempts to "correct" my use of logic. People are making knee-jerk reaction comments without checking anything, while I'm looking right at logic texts which confirm every point I make. I don't have to "remember" what I read if I'm looking right at the text. But to answer your question, yes I do. Once again, YOU need to check your assumptions. If my videos "suggest" otherwise, it is probably because YOU need to pick up some logic texts again, not me.
I know what I'm talking about. Now if you can PROVE otherwise, you are welcomed to try.
Thanks Mjhavok, but I already own a few logic and critical thinking texts. One of the main ones I use is: "Logical Reasoning" by Bradley Harris Dowden. So, instead of trying to find fault with me, I believe you should focus attention on the flawed reasoning in your own camp. A straw man is a straw man, whether it comes from an atheist or a Christian. A faulty analogy is a faulty analogy whether it comes from a Christian or an atheist...and so forth. I've already ran away someone who tried to correct my use of a word that he/she claimed was not truly a word, but the dictionary proved the person wrong. I believe you need to check your assumptions.
Funny how so far only one atheist who has commented on my videos has admitted to error on the part of the atheist I criticize. That speaks volumes.
