@atzutzu The Declaration of Independence is not any form of legal document that gives citizens any for of human rights. Those rights, and all other foundational things regarding the United States, are found in the Constitution and its amendments. That document, with the exception of the 1st amendment and the establishment clause, makes no mention what-so-ever of a god.
