A guy using the power of the YouTube community to help the poor.
About Me:

I used to be a grad student at Notre Dame before I was inspired by a professor who talked about how it's our generation's responsibility to help end extreme poverty. That inspired me to pack my bags and go to Bangladesh - the country my parents are from but had fled shortly after a war that occurred there in 1971.

With just a laptop, camcorder, and by sharing my story here, the YouTube community has helped me rebuild a school, help over 10,000 children through health volunteer program, build a clean water system for an entire village, and assist schools and students through the funding of scholarships, supplies, meals, and medication.

This isn't a charity or organization - I just do this as an individual. This also isn't a Do-It-Yourself project - whenever possible I try and team up with (and put a spotlight on) great organizations (like Save the Children). And "uncultured" is just a self-deprecating comment about myself - not the people of Bangladesh or anywhere else this journey takes me.
