I have been natural for 5 years (December 4, 2009 will make it 6 years).
My hairtype is 4a/4b, but I would say I am predominantly 4b.

Sera, I really need your help. I did my big chop back in July, then did another chop because i really didnt know what I was doing. i have developed a routine, but after looking at it, Im wondering if Im overdoing something. You are truly my inspiration, and would love the help getting to where you currently are. Please let me know if that is ok, and I will send you my regimen.....You are such an inspiration....

Hi Saran, My name is Sandra and I got my BC on September 13th of 2010 and my hair looks like yours when you first got yours. Can you give me any adivce as far as shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, homemade items that you made have made etc. I am stuck and really do not know what to do. Is it too early to use the shea butter moisturizer that other people on this site concutured up. Please let me know how often I should wash my hair, conditioner, moisturize it or put leave in conditioners in. Thanks for any advise that you could give me. Your hair is beautiful now. Thank Gord, can't wait until mine starts growing. :(
