When one person does it to another it's a crime, but when a polititian, a prison warden and a large mob does it, it's justice? It's the same act and the only thing that comes out of it is a decrease of human souls in this world and a increase of murdurers. But with the world being over populated by humans, maybe it isn't the worst thing that could happen.
"You should never choose a side without hearing the whole story."
And who of us has acctually taken our time to really listen?
The thing that truly sickens me in this debate? The fact that the costs in cash are the major argument presented against the death penalty. The cost in human life, guilty or innocent, is a far higher cost than simple money. The death penalty is to me an exercise in revenge and venting rage. It goes to the basic human instinct. Someone Must Pay. They must pay the Ultimate Price.
