LCD TVs are everywhere now. In schools , airports, malls, train stations. Their wonderful additions to the built environment. Sometimes you have to wonder if life can get any more modern than it is now. I don't know if we should embrace it or not, but what we're experiencing now with web 2.0, smart phones, etc...is just the early stages of the digital age. New technologies are being created. Some technologies are born by the fusing or grafting of one technology onto another. In Japan, their starting to use robots to replace people as security guards and receptionist in some offices. Robots made to look human, with human like skin and mannerism. Scary when you think about it. Machines taking over the world. lol. It's early days yet!
